This song was often playing when my divorce was fresh and I was beset by hate and all the hassle.
Once, the album played as I drove the kids to their mother's house.
"Dad?" Lillie asked.
"Yes ma'am?"
"Are you scared of being lonely and . . . banana?"
"Um, no, I'm not, honey. Are you?"
"Yes," she whispered. "Everybody is."
